Question 2: Preventing Intoxication: Early Intervention

You need to monitor patrons and identify any at risk of becoming unduly intoxicated and intervene. The House Policy outlines some intervention strategies used in your venue.

You notice a patron has been drinking alcohol for three (3) hours without eating or drinking anything else. At this stage they do not appear to be intoxicated but you need to prevent this from happening.

Intervene and offer the patron two (2) different alternatives to help prevent them from becoming intoxicated.

In your response you must talk as though you are speaking to the patron. Offer them at least two (2) different alternatives or intervention strategies.
