Homework Booklet
A researcher wanted to investigate how different types of music can influence the mood of
14-year-old teenagers. The study included a group of 14-
year
-
old students from various
schools. A total of 100 participants were randomly
selected to participate in the study.
Participants were randomly assigned to three groups: Group A, Group B, and Group C. Each
group listened to a specific genre of music in a classroom:
pop music in Group A, classical

in Group B, and heavy metal music
in Group C.
After listening to the music, participants completed a mood assessment survey that included
questions about their current emotional state (happy, sad,
excited, etc.) and happiness rating.
