After reviewing Team 8's presentation on Ageism in an Aging Workforce I found a point when they discussed intersectionality in the workplace and found that as people of different, ages, races, and genders all share thoughts and ideas, a strategy to reduce conflicts is just to have an open mind. By doing this everyone should be heard and everyone should be able to speak upon the issue at hand. Also everybody in the workplace should accept the identities of other. By being accepting and open-minded it provides a great deal of things that can benefit the workplace. It allows for better collaboration between colleagues, reduces bias and discrimination among others, encourages and builds respect and trust, as well as promote inclusivity. By embracing diverse identities and having an open-minded attitude in the workplace it can create a respected and productive environment where conflicts can be minimized, and individuals can work at their best professionally.
