I went walking with my family on a trail in the park. We had to hurry because It was getting close to being dark. We wound through the woods, looking low and looking high, until we found the ideal spot to gaze at the sky. The night was calm and clear – great for looking at the starts. With help from our telescope, maybe we would see Mars. I sat down next to Dad and put the telescope in place. We soon began to count the starts, but it turned into a race. I counted to one hundred and decided to stop there. My brother can count higher, so it became a bit unfair. The
