Brian comes to the office every Wednesday to receive an allergy shot that contains small amounts of the allergen to which he reacts. The physician has told Brian and the medical staff that after being injected, Brian is to stay in resting position in the office for a period of no less than 20 minutes to protect him against the rare instances when he may have a bad reaction. One day , you see Brian leaving the office directly after the shot has been administered. When you stop him he says that he has an appointment and cannot stay , and that he has never has a bad reaction and is sure he will be fine. What do you do?
