Hercules used a torch to burn off the stumps of the creature. He defeated a many-headed serpent whose heads grew again as they were cut off.
Hercules chased the golden-horned deer, an elusive and fast animal, on foot for an entire year! In the end, due to exhaustion, he wounds the deer with his arrow.
Hercules volunteered to clean them by himself, and even though the job was meant to humiliate the mighty Hercules, he managed to find a shortcut and tidied the whole place in less than a dav!
