A colleague comes to you to complain about a disagreeable child in her classroom. What is the best advice you can give her about how to work with this child?
1) If you can discipline yourself to just ignore her, she'll eventually stop trying to get attention by acting this way.
2) Maybe you need to give her parents some advice on parenting. If she's acting this way at school, they clearly have issues at home.
3) Some children will never be likeable and well adjusted. I guess you just have to tough it out until the end of the year.
4) She must really need you. The more you can show warmth and support to her, the more likely she is to come around.
