Read passage A from "Back to the Moon.” Robots have found that Mars’s surface once held water. That means it’s possible that living things were once on Mars. In fact, there could still be life on Mars. Read passage B from "Let's Explore Mars.” This rust was caused by flowing water. Today, Mars has only frozen water on its surface. However, where there is water, there might be life, which is one reason why scientists want to explore the planet.  Which point do the two authors agree on in the two passages? The surface of Mars is completely frozen. Frozen water means it is very cold on Mars. Mars no longer shows any signs of life. Water means there might be life on Mars.
