U.S. President Joe Biden has taken office less than two weeks ago, and his new administration is formulating a different strategy toward China than before. The U.S. strategy is laissez-faire toward corporate partnerships, strategic initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions of all kinds. At the same time, China is adopting a highly coordinated strategic strategy that includes direct, large-scale government support for leading national technology companies.
