After part one in the western star write a paragraph explaining what crime you think is going to be committed and who will be responsible. After part two in the western star answer the following questions in complete sentences: 1. What is your impression of this story? How does it compare to the other two mystery stories? How would you rank this compared to Dupin and to Holmes? 2. How would you rank the detective pairings for the three stories? (Dupin and narrator, Holmes and Watson, Poirot and Hastings) 3. What role do the sidekicks play in the stories other than acting as narrator? Do they serve a valuable role?
