maybe we would see Märs.
I sat down next to Dad
and put the telescope in place.
We soon began to count the stars,
but it turned into a race.
I counted to one hundred
and decided to stop there.
My brother can count higher,
so it became a bit unfair.
The stars were shining brightly
like lights across the sky.
"It is so beautiful," Dad said,
"it almost makes me cry."
There are pictures in the stars,
and I can name a few.
I can see the Big Dipper and
the Little Dipper too.
To peer up in the darkness
and see the sky at night
made me never want to leave.
It was such a beautiful sight.
Read the poem.
Why is this a good time for the family to use the telescope?

○ They wanted to see Mars.
O Their telescope is brand new.
O They are able to find a spot for the telescope.
O They night is clear enough to see the sky.
