Is it realistically possible to fall off the cliff the way the coyote is doing? Well, then your job is to determine the
path that the coyote would take (if he keeps running the way he is doing) from the moment the gets off the cliff
until the moment he strikes the ground. Assume that the cliff represents a point on the positive y-axis and it is
45 meters high. If x represents the time in seconds that pass since the Coyote started falling off the cliff,
answer the following questions in a sheet of paper:
1) Sketch the path that the Coyote would trace as he is falling off the cliff. Use arrow notation to show the
direction in which the Coyote is moving and label any starting/ending point in the path traced.
2) Use parametric equations to write an equation for the graph traced by the Coyote and state the restrictions
for the parameter "t" if it is known that the Coyote will strike the ground 6 seconds after he gets off the cliff.
Show all your work on how you obtained your parametric equations and explain how you got the restrictions
for "t".
3) Eliminate the parameter in your parametric equations obtained in question 2, and write and equation
involving only x and y. Show all your work
