If a point F(-2,-7) is rotated 180 degrees about a point (-1,5), what will the new point be?
Here, the first step is to move the point (-2,-7) to the origin, but the correct translation vector is <1,-5>. But I thought if the translation vector is <1,5>, the point would be closer to the origin since the point would be (-1,-2) after translating? Why is <1,5> wrong and <1,-5> right?
