They have bigger pieces of wood that are 4 ft. long and 2 ft. wide and smaller pieces of wood that are 2 ft. long and 1 ft. wide. Each piece of wood is 6 in., or ½ ft., tall.

1. What is the volume of the fenced in area in square ft.?
2. If the salesperson put all the big pieces of wood into the fenced area, what is the most they could fit?
3. If the salesperson put all the little pieces of wood into the fenced area, what is the most they could fit?
4. The wood sales person wants to get a banner made that can wrap around the outside of the fence. What is the area of the banner that the sales person needs to buy?
