a. direct evidence, if believed, proves a fact without resort to any inference or presumption.
b. a jury must accept that direct evidence is a proven fact.
c. it carries much more weight and is very much more persuasive than circumstantial evidence.
d. it requires less corroboration than circumstantial evidence.
