In the year 2075, the world had changed. The Great Quake and a deadly virus that us kids under 18 were
immune to had shattered cities and a new order rose from the ashes. Teenagers, once carefree and
absorbed in their screens, were now the survivors, the rebuilders, the new hope
I'm Sanai the leader of the "Phoenix Crew" I was the oldest, the one that takes care of all the problems.
We called our self the "Phoenix Crew," because we were determined to rise above the emptiness of the
new world. It's been 3 months since the Great Quake and the deadly virus that wiped out all the adults.
Since then, we've been camping out at an abandoned mail that we now call home. Amidst the ruins of a
once crowded and busy metropolis, Me and my band of teenage rebels scavenged for resources across
the empty metropolis. This was a very risky journey because ever since the virus got out and the adults
died all the androids went rogue.
Our latest mission was to restore power to our home base, an abandoned shopping mall we claimed as
our own. The mall was a fortress so without light our defenses were weak. Me and the oldest teenagers
Caleb and Jayson had located an old generator in a hospital where we needed to gather other supplies.
The hospital was surrounded by Androids so this would be a risty journey. This plan would take some
time and dedication to organize. Two weeks has passed, and the plan was in motion and ready to start.
I gathered weapons and our strongest soldiers to go on this risky journey. This journey could cause the
fate of others, but I was prepared for that burden.
As night fell, we started our journey to the hospital. We had reached the generator. It hadn't been used
in months, so it didn't cut on automatically. Sparks flew as we worked to bring it back to life. Suddenly,
lights flickered on in the distance the androids started charging! A battle started, metal clashing the
androids are breaking everything that gets in the way.
The Phoenix Crew fought bravely, our youthful energy something the androids didn't have. The groups
fought hard as dawn broke, Sanai had led the Phoenix crew to a victory. The generator hummed to life,
a beacon of light in the darkness.
The Phoenix crew had done more than survive, we had adapted, thrived, and ignited a flame of hope in
the new teenage community.

Where in your narrative might this reflection fit best why?
