Although Hubek school is normally associated with good performance in the national examinations, mountains of trash are a common eyesore in the school. The school management has failed to deal with this problem effectively. This failure recently prompted a nongovernmental organization, which advocates for sustainable development, to organize a community meeting on the issue of waste management in the school. Scientists from around the county and county government representatives attended the event to discuss this concern.
