In this experiment, the electrophoresis was used to determine the successful of restriction digestion towards plasmid 1 and plasmid 2. The separation of the restricted and unrestricted products in electrophoresis is based on size and 1. (................................) charge. The agarose gel should be placed as the well oriented towards the negative electrode since the DNA were 2. (................................) charge. The digestion of the plasmid 1 resulted in the generation of band/s size 3. ( .................................) while plasmid 2 resulted in generation of band/s size 4.(.................................). When comparing with virtual digest from Benchling, plasmid 1 was recognized as 5. (..................................) and plasmid 2 as 6. (.......................................). Plasmid 1 containing restriction site/s for 7. (.....................................) enzyme/s while plasmid 2 containing restriction site/s for 8. (..................................) enzyme/s. In virtual simulation, the dyes migrate towards 9. (...................................) electrode with 10. (..................................) colour dye was the farthest. In conclusion, electrophoresis can be used to analyse the restricted products. Besides, the migration of molecules during electrophoresis depend on the size and charge of the molecules.
