When making a graph to represent your data table, remember that a complete graph has a descriptive title, both axes
labeled with variables and units, and the data points neatly plotted as ordered pairs
To make your line graph, follow these steps:
1. Title the graph
2. Label your axes with the variables and units. Be sure to put the independent variable on the x-axis.
3. Scale each axis by an appropriate amount. Pick easy numbers like counting by 1, 2, or 5. You could also use multiples
of these numbers (10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, etc.) Your scale should make your points extend to at least half-way across
for each axis.
4. Plot each ordered pair of data on your graph.
5. Decide if the line for your points should connect the dots or be a best-fine line showing the general trend of your data.
Use the data tables provided below to make line graphs. When you are finished, you should have 3 graphs: 2 single line
graphs and 1 multiple line graph.
