Crafting a Winning Argument Assessment
Step 1: Following the lesson, write the first draft of your argumentative essay using the outline
you finessed. Edit and revise your paper in order to develop a final draft.
Step 2: Copy and paste these questions on their own page at the end of your paper to answer in
2-3 sentences each.
What steps did you follow to
revise and edit your
argument?
Whom did you consult for
help in the process?
What type of errors did you
correct more than others?
Spelling? Punctuation?
Sentence Structure?
What makes your final draft
better than your first draft?
The steps I was taking while writing my argument one
would be that I made sure my main idea/point was
efficient with each category, Also going over it multiple
times to make sure my spelling was correct.
I consulted with myself as if I was reading it from a
different perspective, going through it and nitpicking
every incorrect thing.
There were more spelling mistakes, some punctuation and
more spelling though.
I feel like it makes the point i get at more obvious and
easy to get.
Step 3: Submit your final draft and reflection questions. Would you rather live a life filled with
liars or people who only tell the truth? we weren't put on this earth to be oblivious and non caring
we were put here to be free and not tied down. there's people whose words show this message. A
trending one would be Patrick henrys give me liberty or death that shows his devotion to be free
rather than to be enslaved. The message was also him showing he wanted to stop the slavery.
