Activity
In the second half of this lesson, you learned how to solicit research participation. You also learned how to craft the various parts of a professional letter, as well as how to use commas to separate independent clauses from dependent clauses and other independent clauses. In this activity, you will solicit participation from a member of your community to help you carry out your research plan. You can refer to your notes and annotations from the Read and Analyze sections of this lesson.
Part A – Survey Creation
Surveys collect information. They can be a series of questions that participants answer or a series of statements that participants rate using a scale. You will create a survey with a rating scale as shown in the sample survey below.
