Growth in the Hispanic (Latino) Population in the United States Since 2000
Next we’ll look at US Census data for growth in the Hispanic (Latino) population between 2000 and 2010. Before looking at the data, make some predictions:

Which state(s) do you think would have experienced the greatest amount of growth in the Hispanic (Latino) population? Why do you think that?
Will the states with the biggest growth in numbers of Hispanics (Latinos) also be the states with the biggest percentage increase? Why or why not?
Now open the spreadsheet again and look at the columns under the heading Population Change 2000 to 2010.

Part A
Go to your Math Tools and open the Data Plot. Create a histogram of the data in the Percent column for the states. (You can copy a column of data from the spreadsheet and paste it into histogram data set.) Set useful limits and intervals and label the histogram appropriately. Export an image of the histogram, and insert it below.
