In an experiment to determine Osmosis using dialysis bag ,were shown that an 2M sucrose solution was placed within the bag dipped in A:2M sucrose sol. B:10M sucrose sol. C: distilled water . In every tube or one of those 3 solutions, two water movements ,opposite in the direction, with the larger amount of water following down the gradient ,while a less water was observed to go up the gradient (of course that in B,C cases). My question is briefly explaining the components that allowed that up-the gradient movement, crossing the dialysis membrane,to occur!
