The three articles differ in their perspectives on creativity and dishonesty. The seed article posits that creativity and dishonesty are linked by a shared trait of rule-breaking, suggesting that individuals who are creative or dishonest feel less bound by rules, potentially leading to a correlation between the two. Conversely, the first article proposes that creative individuals are more capable of justifying their actions without guilt, which may lead them to behave unethically.

The second article, however, focuses on moral factors such as moral identity and moral disengagement, arguing that unethical behavior is not solely linked to creativity. It suggests that highly creative individuals with strong moral identities are less likely to act dishonestly or unethically. Our study differs from the seed article's viewpoint. We hypothesize that high creativity alone does not necessarily lead to cheating. Instead, we propose that a creative mindset combined with a strong interest in a task can contribute to such behavior.
