The EHR usability framework called TURF has four components identified by Zand and Waifi. TURF stands for Task, User, Representation, and Function. These four components are a set of measurements to determine:
a-whether or not end users could use an EHR to perform required tasks.
b- improve information design and visualization of EHR to enhance accessibility of patient data. c-the cognitive foundations for decision-making implications for decision support.
d- the automated model-based clinical summarization of key patient data.
