Assignment Block Learning Task 13-02: Carcinogens on the SDS Your task is to review Safety Data Sheets for various workplace chemicals. Create an organizer that shows:
- The category of carcinogen
- The route of exposure
- How to protect yourself from exposure
For assistance with how to read a safety Data Sheet, visit the Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety website. The Canadian Cancer Society also has some interesting information about Occupational Exposure. *Helpful Hint: SDS documents can be quite long and contain lots of very technical information. You may want to search the SDS document for keywords like carcinogen, exposure and protect.

- Gasoline
- Wood dust
- Formaldehyde
- Trichloroethylene
- Arsenic
- Benzene
- Vinyl
- Chloride
