An intern in your company has carried out some initial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in the early stages of a project. The aim of the project is to evaluate the forces on the cooling towers that arise from the wind blowing so that others can evaluate why the tower collapsed. The model that was produced contains a set of four towers and shows a wind velocity of 30 mph. It has been provided for your assessment. You are asked to evaluate the CFD study performed by the intern, which is provided in the Ansys archive file (available to download from the Assessment page of the module website). The model may have simplifications, flaws and errors. For each part of the question below, give a clear statement or statements and your reasoning. You are not required to amend the model, but you can use the skills you have learned to interrogate and evaluate it.
