CHCECE037- Support children to connect with the natural environment

Performance evidence
Evidence of the ability to complete tasks outlined in elements and performance criteria of this unit in the context of the job role, and:
- On three occasions support children's knowledge, appreciation and understanding of the natural environment. At least one of these occasions must involve Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples' use of the natural environment
- Plan and implement two opportunities that encourage children to engage positively with the natural environment, using one indoor and one outdoor opportunity.

CHCECE037- Tasks
1. You need to plan and create ONE activity for 3-5 years old children that reflects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and their relationship to the natural environment.
2. You need to plan and then create 2 activities, one for infants ( 0−2 years) and one for toddlers (2-4 years), where children can be involved/engaged in natural environment practices in either indoor or outdoor. For example: Using natural elements in Artwork, gardening or planting.
3. You should provide evidence of your work, where lessons must be planned and well-explained to children, to enhance and support their understanding of the natural environment.
