A TV network considering new contracts to televise pro sports hires a marketing consultant to conduct a survey of randomly selected TV viewers asking them which of football, baseball, and basketball they go out of their way to watch on TV. Of those surveyed, 30 watch baseball, 1035 watch basketball, 285 watch football, 80 watch basketball and football, and 560 watch none of the three. Every single person who watches baseball also watches basketball, and none of those people watch football.
