After digesting a polypeptide chain with trypsin and elastase and the fragments were sequenced by Edman degradation. The results (not in any particular order) are shown below:
Trypsin digestion: Met-Val-Lys; Glu-Trp-Arg; Gly-Leu-Thr; Ile-Lys; Trp-Val-Arg;
Elastase digestion: Lys-Ile-Lys-Trp-Val; Arg-Glu-Trp-Arg-Gly; Met-Val; Leu-Thr;
