A rod is made of two solid rods welded together: AB steel and BC is brass. It is fixed at its ends and subjected to a torque of 680Nm. The steel rod dia is 30mm and the brass rod dia is 60mm. Find the angular displacements at B and the maximum shear stresses in both steel and brass rods. All calculations in N and mm.
