Good afternoon, everyone! My name is Angel Wilson, and I am a rising senior at Central State.I personally feel as though love of learning is an extremely important virtue for one to have. To be able to observe our environments/world in a multitude of ways and take knowledge away from what we see is a real privilege, in my opinion. Whether someone decides to pursue higher education in the form of a college degree, or simply likes to mundane things such as taking walks through nature to observe all the many species of plants, learning is something we should strive to do each and every day.In all honesty. for a large part of my life, I responded to challenges and problems with avoidance. Only during my time at Central State University have I pushed myself to find solutions to problems that are more proactive. Over the past three years, I like to think that I have become an extremely resilient person. I really look up to my mother; she is a great example of resiliency in my life.In all honesty, my passions change often but at the present, I am passionate about technology. If I could, I would tell my younger self to step out of my comfort zone much earlier on in life.I consider gratitude to be the basis of good mental health, so it is extremely important. If you view your own life through a lens of abundance, it is extremely easy to persevere and to continue to see yourself as blessed, even when times are hard.
