1) How far above the ground will George be when his seat reaches the top?
2) Right after George gets on the Ferris wheel at the bottom, it rotates 300 degrees counterclockwise and stops to let other passengers on the ride. By how many radians did the wheel rotate, and how far above the ground is George at this point?
3) If we change the radius of the wheel to 1 foot, what would the coordinates be on the unit circle where George stops in Question 2? Also comment on why I might be asking you to change the radius of the wheel to 1 foot. Any guess here is a good one!
4) Using the coordinates you found from Question 3, find secant. This is important because we will use this in the future to solve problems encountered in the engineering field.
