courses are fractions, decimals, and percentages. Each is related to the other in ways that are
useful to know. In this question, we are going to start with fractions. For all of the questions in this
InQuizitive activity, you should feel free to use the calculator for assistance. We are more
interested in you knowing how to do the calculations than your being able to do it in your head or
on paper.

There are 50 states in the United States of America. If three-fourths (3/4) are required to vote in
favor of an amendment for it to be added to the Constitution, how many states is that? Make sure
to round up to the nearest state. In other words, if your calculations gave you 16.2 states, you'd
round up to 17 (you cannot have 0.2 states voting in favor of something).
