Nurse practitioners must take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of controlled substances in their possession. Should a situation arise where the nurse practitioner suspects that security may have been broken, they should first notify

c. the regulatory body i.e., College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
d. Saskatchewan Prescription Review Program.
