A great way to learn a theory thoroughly is to personalize the knowledge. Erikson’s model of development provides an overarching framework within which one can define oneself. For this activity, you will need to write a 2-3 page reflection paper applying Erikson’s model to your own personality. You should speak to their parents (or early caregivers) and family for information on how you behaved in the first few years of life. As they progress through the later stages of the model, you may describe your own memories of how you responded to each of the developmental crises and how you resolved it. Anecdotes, personal narratives, and self-reflection may be used to substantiate.
