The Business Services Team is made up of 30 employees. Five members of the Business Services Team: Ahmed, Sarah, Myah, Isaiah and Max, identify themselves as ‘Muslims’. Sarah and Myah, wear head coverings called hijabs. Sarah and Myah have expressed that they wear hijabs due to their religious beliefs. Ahmed, Sarah, Myah, Isaiah and Max, due to their religious beliefs, pray five times a day and use the TeleAus’ prayer room. Ahmed, Sarah, Myah, Isaiah and Max have all said that they require the food they eat to be halal. Ahmed, Sarah, Myah and Isaiah all speak Arabic and English. Seven members of the Business Services Team: Marco, Santi, James, Daniella, Patrick, David and Alex, identify themselves as ‘Catholics’. Marco and Santi have said that they go to church once a week. Marco, Santi, James, Helen, Patrick, Michael and Alex all celebrate Christmas. Recently, Marco celebrated the Baptism of his son. Marco explained that having his son baptised was important to him, as by being baptised his son has become a Catholic. Five members of the Business Services Team: Marco, James, Daniella, David and Julia refer to themselves as being ‘Italian’. Marco, James, Daniella and Julia were born in Australia. David was born in Italy. Marco, James, David and Daniella all speak Italian. Julia knows some Italian, but she has said that she does not really speak it. When TeleAus had a cultural celebration day, Marco, James, Daniella, David and Julia all brought in traditional Italian food to share with the Business Services Team. And, David brought in his favourite Italian music. Three members of the Business Services Team: Prianka, Shruti and Sanjeev, identify themselves as ‘Hindus’. Prianka, Shruti and Sanjeev do not eat beef. Sanjeev is completely vegetarian. Prianka, Shruti and Sanjeev all celebrate Diwali every year. Prianka, Shruti and Sanjeev, refer to themselves as being ‘Indian’. Three members of the Business Services Team: Tim, An and Chen, identify as being ‘Chinese’. Tim, An and Chen all speak Mandarin and English.
