When establishing safety cushions, or space cushions, and dealing with two or more impending hazards at the same time, you may need to:
a) develop strong multi-tasking skills so that you can effectively deal with the hazards simultaneously.
b) address each potential hazard one at a time.
c) split the difference, giving a little extra time and space to the more dangerous of the hazards.
d) slow down and come to a stop, pulling the car over on the side of the road to wait for the hazards to resolve themselves.
