4. Design a formal class test and memo for the following topic: Grade 8:
Financial Literacy: Cash Receipts Journal (services). The questions must be
aligned to the range of cognitive levels (page 50 of GET CAPS) based on Blooms
taxonomy, and content described in the GET Amended CAPS.
The test must count 30 marks and be written in 30 minutes.
Hint: This test must reflect a real classroom test. Be sure to leave space for
learners' information, have clear instructions, and mark allocations based on the
level at which you are testing the learners. The memo must also be clear and
easy to follow for other markers.

Marking allocation is visible and appropriate.
Questions are based on Blooms taxonomy appropriate to the level of Grade
8 learners as per CAPS for the correct topic. (starting easy and becoming
more difficult) and mark allocation reflect Blooms Taxonomy (easier
questions such as match the column or true or false, less marks and higher
order thinking questions should have more marks). Questions use the
correct Blooms Verbs.
Memo/rubric/marking grid is relevant to questions, it is clear and concise,
and shows marking allocation for the marker.
