Symptoms of a deep vein thrombosis are swelling, redness, and pain (UHS 2022). Cellulitis is a common bacterial skin infection. If left untreated it can spread throughout the body and cause serious health issues. Cellulitis presents as a red, swollen, and painful area of the skin that is warm to the touch (CDC, 2020).
