Barcode labeling on blood products:

a. Are only used by the blood bank healthcare professionals to track blood use and for billing.
b. Are used in the PPID and BCMA processes
c. Can track blood products from the donor, the collection agency, and the key characteristics of the blood such as type, RH, and blood component.
d. Has been discontinued until 3D barcodes are available to store the needed information for administration.
