Mr. Nutter is a fifth-grade teacher who applied for a promotion in his school district. To prepare for the interview, the administrator asked Mr. Nutter to prepare a presentation on how to use technology as an effective teaching strategy. Mr. Nutter will give this presentation at a professional development session for teachers in the district. To get started, Mr. Nutter knows that research questions are essential to a good search. Since research questions also create the end goal, he first creates a research question that asks: Can technology be used as a teaching strategy? Then, he proceeds to identify the keyword “teaching strategy” to find an article in the library. The following is the journal article Mr. Nutter selects: Cooper, T. C. (1977).
