the endpoints of AB are A (0,4) and B (-4,6). Which equation off a line represents the perpendicular bisextor of AB?
I was able to find the slope,2, by the slope formula, though I wanted to know when I looked at the multiple-choice options which are

A. y=-1/2x+4
B.y=2x+8
C.y=-2x+1
D.y=2x+9
When I plug the slope and one of the coordinates into the slope formula, I got two different white intercepts which non-matched to the options so why am I wrong? The correct answer is four by the way after looking online. I just learned what the formula in geometry was this year and I don’t know the difference difference between them and just to use the slope formula and the point slope formula.
It would be much appreciated if somebody helped me!
Have a good day!
