Activity 13.7 Transferring information from one form into another (individual)
1. Read the following information making sure that you understand it.
Entrepreneurs Day Ventures
There were four main groups of entrepreneurs at the school's Entrepreneurs Day. Half of the students
had stalls that sold food in one form or another. There were hot dogs, fudge, biscuits, samoosas and
fruit juices. Another popular sales item was plants: about a quarter of the stalls sold herbs and other
seedlings in containers. Twenty percent of the stalls had homemade items such as bookmarks, beaded
jewellery, wooden utensils and paper serviette holders. The remaining stalls had between them second
hand books, art and mobiles for sale.
2. Now draw a bar graph giving this information.
