Use the clue to find the mystery number.

The mystery number has 5 digits.

The mystery number contains the digits 2,3, and 4. Digits may be used more than once in the mystery number.

The value of the digit in the hundreds place is 200.

The largest digit is in the ten thousands place.

The digit in the hundreds place has a value ten times the value of the digit in the tens place.

The sum of the digit in the hundreds place and the digit in the thousands place is 5.

The digit in the ones place is double the digit next to it.

Ok so from the first statement we can see that the number must be _ _ 2 _ _
Now from the second statement we can see that the largest number 4 is in the 10000s place so 4 _ 2 _ _
The 3rd statement tells us that the number in the 10s place is the same as the number in the 100s place so 4 _ 2 2 _
Now the 4th statement allows us to work out the 1000s place as 2+x=5
Therefore is it 3 so 4 3 2 2 _
Now the final statement tells us that the number in the 1s place is double the number in the 10s place therefore the number is 43224
