Ok, so I know there are several ways to solve this but the way I did it is $1.30 is the price of a rose but each rose is 50 cents so now it's .80 cents so you divide $60.00 by .80 cents which is 75. They must sell 75 roses to break even.
If they only sold 50, it would be a -$20 profit
Assuming that they don't have to buy more supplies, for every 25 roses that they sell after breaking even, it would be a $20 profit(25÷.80cents=$20) So selling 100 roses is a +$20 profit(75 to break even and an extra 25 roses sold at a profit) So selling 200 roses is a $100 profit( 75 to break even and 125 roses sold at a profit)
