Need help with finding the nth term in quadratic equations!

This is hard to explain first you need to know that 3+6 gets you to 9 then you have the next number 9 snd you add 6 also with two more to get you to 17. Next you have 17 you add the 6 plus 2 and then add 2 more to get you to 27. Ask me if you have a question.
