First u do distributive property, and if u put arrows pointing from the number outside the parenthesis to each of the numbers inside u remember easier according to my math teacher. So 4 times 1.5c is 6c then 4 times 6 is 24
Now the problem is written:
6c + 24 - 2c = -9
Now u add/subtract like terms so 6c - 2c is 4c
So 4c + 24 = -9
Subtract 24 from both sides:
4c = -33
