How can you measure the volume of a solid that does not have a regular shape? What property must the solid NOT have for your method to work?
The SI unit of length is the ____________________ (meter/mile).
Convert 255 centimeters to meters, millimeters, and kilometers.
Explain what would happen if scientists tried to replicate experiments if there was no standard system of measurement like SI.
A kilogram is ____________ (1,000/10,000) times as large as a gram.
Water freezes at 32 degrees and boils at 212 degrees on the Fahrenheit temperature scale. Compare the size of a degree of the Fahrenheit scale to the size of a degree on the Celsius scale.
Which unit of measurement is better for determining the volume for a drop of water: a milliliter or a liter? Explain.

Answer :

get a cylinder that is about maybe 100cm^3
fill it up with about 30cm^3
place the solid into the cylinder.
take the reading - 30 to find the volume of the solid
SI unit of length is meter
255cm=2550mm and 2.55m
about the scientists question: it'll be impossible to carry out experiments as science has to be very precise
1kg=1000g
1 fahrenheit = -17.2 degree celsius
milliliter

hope it helps :) need anything just msg
