Even though surrounded by desert and sand, Egypt depends on the Nile River. This river sometimes flooded, but also assisted the farmers in farming. Egyptians did not have to worry about desert. The Nile often would deposit quite a bit of rich dark soil called “kemet” in Egypt after a slight flood, one that can’t do a lot of damage. In the outer regions of Egypt, the desert did hurt them by having droughts and damaging dry weather. Nevertheless, the Egyptians formed a way of irrigation, moving water from one place to another.
Being surrounded by deserts in Egypt was a good thing because it protected them from enemies, but they can hurt Egypt because they can't go to spread their ideas to other people around the world. It is like the same thing that happened to China when they are surroundedby Mountains, deserts and oceans. they thought they were the only civilization in the world
